LIDER - the Spanish word for Leader- is
the acronym for the Latino Institute for Development, Education
& Responsibility. The primary goal of this non-profit organization
is to empower Latinos with the personal and professional development
tools and strategies to achieve their American Dream and become
successful role models to future generations of Americans. Our approach
incorporates clear and specific goals that enable Hispanics to develop
a positive self-image, take responsibility for their own success,
and embrace education as the cornerstone of self-reliance.

Hispanic Unity Florida says...
“Hispanic Unity sponsored Dr. Cruz's
workshop because his message is one of empowerment --of hope-- of
possibilities. And, he did not disappoint us, or the audience. He
encouraged and cajoled, and reminded us that our dreams are possible.
He showed us how to eliminate obstacles so that we can, as our agency's
mission states: 'help lead productive lives.' And happy ones too.”
